September Week 4 | An Idea for Every Day

(Updated 8.25.2022) We finally got our summer camping trip in! Yes… it’s true…. we waited until after our first snowfall, but nevertheless, we got it in! And, technically, it’s still summer, so "Woohoo!" to accomplished goals. Our nieces and nephews spent the weekend hunting down Bigfoot and feeding chipmunks. My sister and I got scorched in the concentrated UV waves that come with higher elevations while on a four-mile walk around a nearby lake; our husbands came through relatively unscathed. Trips were made to a local Starbucks because our coffee solution failed. And while we formed plans to go again in two weeks, those plans quickly changed. It appears that as the season comes to an end, the campsites are booked solid. So, we’re not the only crazies going out this late in the season! (Updated 8.19.2022) Guess what, leaders? We made it through our first week of online teaching, and, to celebrate, God’s throwing down some snow-fetti! Honestly though, we needed it. The forests are aflame around us and we’re praying the moisture helps put them out. How’s your school year going so far? Have you started? What does it look like for you? We’re in it with you, 110% leaders! We want to support you in ANY way we can. One way we hope to support you is by giving you a reason to celebrate every day. We choose daily holidays and pair them with complementary learning activities for your Preschool to Sixth grade learner. Glance through our post, pick out the ones you like and have fun! (Updated 8.31.2023)  Welcome, Leaders, to Wolfe Stew! We’re SO glad you are here. Have you already started your school year? Does it look different from last school year? Whether it’s the same or different, we’re hoping it’s going smoothly and please know we’re here to help in any  way we can. One of the ways we hope to help is through weekly offerings of engaging activities that complement daily holidays for Preschool to Sixth grade learners. Use them as a break from the usual routine, choose activities that fit in with what you’re already learning, or incentivize them as earned activities – carefully selecting ones you know your learners will love. However you use them, we sincerely hope they add a piece of JOY into every day.
