Seven-Step Bible Study Rhythm | The Wolfe Notes

As I approached the end of Mark, I knew I needed a new Bible study rhythm. So, I created my own approach; so far, it is working well for me. I broke the text into smaller sections so I can lean in longer

If you are trying out my seven-step process, please know I do not force myself to complete all seven steps every day. I allow myself to stop when I feel like I've had enough or when life happens. My goal is more about meeting with God every day then completing all seven steps.

This rhythm is more about reflection than research, which I am also finding refreshing. I don't need to know all the answers; I just want to get to know God better by reflecting on what He says. I invite you to lean in with me. Let's grow together!

Use these steps to find your own rhythm. Some days, I do all seven steps. Some days, I do just one. With my nephew, we do steps 1 and 3.

If you are looking for suggested passages, we do offer a monthly calendar with Bible study options. You'll find links to all of our calendars at the JOY for Today page and all of my Bible study notes are located on the Faith Food page.

I hope you find a rhythm that works for you. I hope you realize that meeting with God does not need to be time-consuming or burdensome. More than anything, I pray that you find yourself anticipating your time together with with Him, and that you find yourself transformed by it.

Growing with you,
