February 2026 | Calendars

It's nearing February and for the first time this winter, I'm feeling chilly. The heater has been running almost nonstop. Today, I'm looking forward to spring. What about you?

This month we're thinking about our thoughts. What we allow ourselves to think about matters. Holding thoughts captive and testing them to see if they are good, lovely, and true is a skill all of us can grow in - leaders and learners alike. Because what we think about affects how we treat ourselves, others, and ultimately who we are becoming.

We invite you to take this step with us! Let's spend February speaking love and truth to ourselves and see how that love spreads to others.

February 2026 GROWTH for Today Calendar

In 2026, we're offering three plans for your Bible study routine: a book study, character study, or topical study. Here’s what the plans cover in February:
  1. Book Study: Continues in Luke (Started in January)
  2. Character Study: Finishes Adam and Eve (Started in January); covers Cain and Abel; and starts Noah
  3. Topical Study: Thoughts
For flexibility, we invite you to choose whichever plan you'd like, or construct your own. We offer a 7-step routine, but we encourage you to take it at your own pace. Some pacing options to consider:
  • All seven steps each day. Complete all seven steps for each daily passage.
  • One step each day. Stretch one passage across seven days by completing one step daily.
  • One step, one passage. Each day, read a new passage and complete one step for that passage.
The main point is to build the habit of daily study in an approachable format. While I try to complete each step every day, this 7-step approach allows me to stop at the end of any step if I find myself interrupted, or when I just feel done for the day. When I'm busy, I can still be faithful to my Bible study commitment by completing just one step. So please, know from the start that I am not forcing myself to maintain the pace, and I hope that gives you freedom to not follow it either. Instead, my goal is to provide you with small, manageable chunks of text and a flexible routine that guides you to ponder God's message to you.

As always, I will post my notes on the Faith Food page as I finish them.

Let us never stop GROWING!

BLANK 2026 Calendars

Both our Idea for Every Day and Growth for Today calendars include a blank calendar for your convenience. Use it to pace your own activities for the month or for personal use. Here are the featured quotes:

Two snowman reach toward each other, one holding out a heart. Text overlay encourages finding someone who loves you for you.

Two snowman look lovingly at each other. Text overlay quotes Philippians 4:8.

Let's let these lyrics from "Courageous" by Casting Crowns be our February anthem:
In the war of the mind
I will make my stand
in the battle of the heart
And the battle of the hand.
Our choices, our attitudes, our outcomes begin with what we allow into our minds. It is a battle, one I'm encouraging you to fight. And, as always, know I'm fighting with you.

With you,

Red bowl with gray steam rising from top, Wolfe Stew written on front of bowl.
