It's nearing February and for the first time this winter, I'm feeling chilly. The heater has been running almost nonstop. Today, I'm looking forward to spring. What about you? This month we're thinking about our thoughts. What we allow ourselves to think about matters. Holding thoughts captive and testing them to see if they are good, lovely, and true is a skill all of us can grow in - leaders and learners alike. Because what we think about affects how we treat ourselves, others, and ultimately who we are becoming.  We invite you to take this step with us!  As I approached the end of Mark , I knew I needed a new Bible study rhythm. So, I created my own approach; so far, it is working well for me. I broke the text into  smaller sections so I can lean in longer .  If you are trying out my seven-step process, please know I do not force myself to complete all seven steps every day. I allow myself to stop when I feel like I've had enough or when life happens. My goal is more about meeting with God every day then completing all seven steps.  This rhythm is  more about reflection than research , which I am also finding refreshing. I don't need to know all the answers; I just want to get to know God better by reflecting on what He says. I invite you to lean in with me. Let's grow together!
