July Week 5 | An Idea for Every Day

Image
(Updated 7/14/2022) As each new month approaches, I am convinced that it catches me by surprise every time. August looms leaders. We're here to help you get ready for it. Whether you're getting ready to go back into the classroom, begin a year of homeschooling or you're looking for activities for your learners to do today, we're stewing on resources for you. Our desire is to help breathe fun into learning and we attempt to achieve that goal by pairing daily holidays with activities for your Preschool to Sixth Grade learner. The activities chosen range from academic to social emotional to just plain fun, and we only choose activities that we would consider doing with the learners in our lives. We hope your learner loves them as much as we think our learners will.  Check out the upcoming holidays ranging from July 26, 2020 to August 1, 2020 (click the link to "jump" to the correlating day's description). But, we're happy to report the surgery was successful and, while we're still praying through recovery, it feels as though a heavy weight's been lifted. I'm sure you can relate. Talk about lifting spirits, next week ends on Fourth of July! Can you believe it? Of course we included it! How could we not? Check out the line-up (click the link to hop to the desired day): Descendants' Day  (6.26.22) Camera Day (6.29.22) Meteor Watch Day (6.30.22) U.S. Postage Stamp Day (7.1.22) I Forgot Day (7.2.22) Compliment Your Mirror Day (7.3.22) Independence Day (7.4.22) And we're plating them in the following ways:   July Calendar  – Ideas at a glance with clickable lin

June Week 3 | An Idea for Every Day

(Updated 4/18/2022.) This is it: the week of my birthday. It’s funny how when we get older, birthdays don’t mean as much. It’s just another number, another year, another day. But it does provide an opportunity to reflect. The first time I felt a loss to my youth was on my thirtieth birthday when reminded I was no longer a “twenty-something.” Then again as Harry Potter hit its 20 th anniversary. Seriously, how has it been that long!?! Time passes so much faster as an adult. What makes you feel time’s speed? Check out the line-up we have for you this week (click each link to jump to details about that day): Flag Day (6.14.2020) Electricity Day (6.15.2020) Fresh Veggies Day (6.16.2020) World Croc Day (6.17.2020) International Picnic Day (6.18.2020) Pets in Film Day (6.19.2020) Summer Solstice (6.20.2020) And remember, we’re serving it to you several ways. Choose what works best for you. June Calendar : An at your fingertip reminder of what days are approaching
