Each number corresponds to its date and paired holiday.
  1. Stand up (or sit down) for what you believe in.
  2. Thank a special education teacher.
  3. Take time to be thankful for the home you live in.
  4. Enjoy a cookie.
  5. Volunteer, or make a plan to.
  6. Do something kind (in secret) for someone else.
  7. Watch or read about Pearl Harbor.
  8. Pick out, set up, or add a decoration to your Christmas tree.
  9. Fill out a Christmas card (or two).
  10. Talk about peace-spreading ideas at dinner.
  11. Decorate a gingerbread house (or cookie).
  12. Light a candle for someone whose flame still burns on through your life.
  13. Sip on cocoa.
  14. Roast chestnuts while listening to The Christmas Song.
  15. Recognize the struggle you successfully face head-on each day and celebrate it.
