October 2025 | Calendars

If you've been around Wolfe Stew for long, you know that I have a love/hate relationship with October. I love the season, that our nephew's birthday is this month, and that I get to start making stews and baking with pumpkin! But Halloween has lost its appeal for me. Yet, as is true for all of us, I have the power to choose what I focus on. So, I'll focus on the things that bring me JOY.

I hope you're doing the same in your classroom. As the October to December season creeps in and students start thinking more and more about holidays and less and less about academics, remember you too have the power to focus on the victories instead of the disappointments. And that is my October challenge for you: before you head home each night, choose one victory from the day to carry with you. And my prayer is that remembering the one victory creates a chain of more and more victories for you.

Let's, together, greet each October day with confidence!

October's 2025 Growth for Today Calendar

This year, we're committed to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus by learning more about Him. To achieve that end, we're studying the gospels and would love it if you'd join us! We suggest daily activities and post our Wolfe Notes in the "Faith Food" tab as we finish them. Our notes offer a glimpse at our understanding of the text, which we know is fallible and incomplete. We encourage you to undertake the activities on your own so you can enrich your own understanding of the text.

Please note: we are no longer following the pace set in these calendars. To update you on our progress, we're currently in Mark 14.

Hold on to the beautiful things, never forget the power within you, and greet every tomorrow with hope. There is always hope.
